THE KOLAWOLE LAWAL CONNECTION

Oath taking; the shame of a state; the betrayal of a people:

Adele oba  Kolawole Lawal has described the recent story about Oath taking by some members of the state legislature as a “shame of a state”. He described the act as barbaric, retrogressive and devilish. Adele Oba Kolawole Lawal called on the elders of the state to investigate the story and address the situation. This according to the Adele is not just a shame of one man, but a collective shame of the good people of the state across all party boundaries. "Our people should not be put to shame, the image of our great state which our founding fathers worked hard for should not be dragged into disrepute" he concluded.
“Look at the picture! It is sickening, horrible, and shameful !! The people that elected them have been betrayed" he lamented.

He wondered why some people could descend so low in a desperate bid for power. “How can people do this? How can they be prepared to sacrifice their own children for an ephemeral thing?” Have they forgotten that even if they cling to that power, sooner or later they will have to relinquish the position, if not through being voted out, then it would be through old age.
